I really need to take a minute and rave about this product. In my opinion Japonesque Makeup Brush Cleanser is one of the best cleansers in the market. I discovered this product while I was in Ulta buying some makeup brushes at the time I had bought the small bottle but as soon as I got home and used it I regretted not buying the big bottle, it's that good. Japonesque comes in two sizes 4.25oz. and 16 oz.The 4.25 oz bottle is around $ 13 and the 16 oz bottle is around $30. I will admit it is a little pricy but it is well worth it plus Ulta has frequent sales at there stores like the one I stumbled upon the last time I was there , I purchased two big 16oz bottles for the price of one so with that in mind it can be affordable. I just use the 4.25 oz. bottle as a refillable container.
This is a 3 in one product it cleanses ,disinfects and conditions your brushes, basically its a brush care system in one bottle. To use Japonesque you simply spray the product directly onto the brush and with a gentle circular motion you clean your brush on a clean cloth or paper towel and let dry. The cleanser has a gentle citrus smell it is not overpowering which I personally find enjoyable, for some reason it feels like a spa treatment. Now because you spray the product on the brush from a reasonable distance you are not drowning your brush in liquid which is what causes damage to the brushes in the first place because the glue that is holding the bristles in place gets wet and over time it will start to loosen up and the bristles fall out. With this product there is no damage to the brush. In conclusion there is no bad thing to say about this product it simply perfect!
